Muse By Memory
Behold, my muse by memory,
perceived in innocent immortality
Yet ripened by a flash of intention.
Two portraits of perfected persona
preserved in montage of moments.
O' those ruby hued lips
kissing farewell the red of my rage.
How I remember vividly
your blush inspired lip-curl,
An image so sublime,
So surreal...
It offers the lingering calm
of a fading fever dream.
And to speak of warmth...
None exists more than your touch,
A mere contact that radiates
an ember from my core.
And I am a slave to your allure,
hopeless to your breath,
as are my words.
Freed by no escape less
than your heart ravish me.
Or my fearful hesitancy,
stripped to vulnerability,
And presented to the mercy
of the you I remember immortal.
O' my muse,
In minds we circumvent time...
but within mine...
You inspire me eternal,
And I shall love you always.
