Muse
It's the teal time of night
To my muse's delight
Playing my mind like a melody
Using my fears even my cheers
My tears my weird thoughts dreaming
When I think of her face
She floats away refusing to be seen
Where is she from is she simply me
In another form of indigo identity
Muse what a fool you make of me
Making songs from my personal purple psalms
That even I hide and shrink away from
For they are red raw and true blue
Unlike the public kind of face I grew
How she dances in my summertime mind
Never wintery for she likes it hot and heavy
Making me the princess of the night
With idea after idea denying sleep
What is your goal tonight mahogany muse
Is tonight's chore to help me choose
Love
Life
Trust
Time
I hear your laughter and join in
I feel your spirit and joy within
Are you an angel in training
Or just the part of me insaning?
