The cold season is coming round Flocks of birds are homeward bound. They are swirling, turning, wheeling They invade the evening sky Changing shape and mesmerizing Safe in numbers; rustling by. A cloud of starling Graceful flapping of their wings Murmuration. -------------------------------------------------------------------- Three Stanza Suite : (1) Couplet (2) Quatrain (3) Haiku -------------------------------------------------------------------- Author: Paul Callus ~ 27th March 2014 Contest: Three Stanza Suite Sponsor: Sheri Fresonke Harper Placing: 1st

'Grazzi' Ivo !! Also thank you for your fruitful efforts in writing something in Maltese; I appreciate that as well. I suppose you talk Italian too. I will end with a 'sahha' ... here in this context it means 'bye'; could also mean 'strength'. // paul
