Murmur of the Rain

When I begin to pray, I hear the sound of His Kalimba play 
soft as the murmur of the rain  each note arrives in disarray  
wild flowers wafting through the breeze  
folded hands to chest down on my knees 
every bloom inside of me, contains His ample loving ray

Lovely poem. When I was young I used to love being huddled in bed and listen to the pitter patter of the rain. Hugs.
