I love that Munch revisited the same thoughts and repainted in several ways. My favourite is probably Vampyr. I have worked my way poetically through several now. Very clever creating a riddle - in some ways mine are all riddles as I don't have the premium features to share the image :) your description really adds depth emphasising the value on a life that an individual doesn't always see themselves

Thank you for your thoughtful observations, DD. Of course “The Scream” is “an infinite shriek passing through nature,” thus the answer to my riddle. I could have posted “The Scream”, but that would have easily given away the answer to the riddle ;) I was happy to post his sketch of “Despair” which happened to be created in the same location as “The Scream.” I’ll have to check out Vampyr.
