Mum Im Pregnant

Mummy, are you sitting down?
No need to sob or gasp or frown
There's something you should know today
I promise, swear I'll be okay
Your little girl is all grown up
a gift, a life, feels so corrupt
still in shock myself you see

...I swear he only touched my knee.....

I agree with Mike. I love the rhyme and the swing of it and the bit of humor. Congratulations, love, Joyce.

I liked this poem. It has good rhythm and rhyme which I consider essential for poetry though most won't agree with me. Mike

That is so funny, Jodie.... it reminds me of an article I read somewhere about a young teenage girl who got pregnant and swore she had been innocent and she must have gotten into her predicament from a toilet seat.
