Multiplying Hats
Multiplying Hats
I had thin hair upon my head;
I bought a little hat,
Ordered from an on line shop
But then what did I get?
The little hat was too dressy to
Wear to the grocery store,
But it was cute, so I kept it,
Ordered me one more.
Now “one more” came and I liked it,
I wore it right away,
I’ll get it in other colors,
And make them my “main stays.”
And then, when I made a place in the closet,
There was an old one there, like new,
I liked it better than all the rest,
So hats I’ve got a few.
Oh, it was straw and has a big name,
It flops and I feel so glamorous,
What was old is new again,
It might must make me amorous.
