Mulligan Sniff
four families conspire for success
one left standing
the other three beggar their neighbors for a mulligan
didnt you hear the world was ending?
just want it over
and over
this is where i live
wonderful life, but dont tell me that
I'm not supposed to be here
abracadabra never made me dissapear
beautiful when a plan comes together
never trust my selfrighteous suicide
what are we fighting over
success
the shift of power
who is to be the last one standing
the truth of why we say god save the queen
and whose paying who with what stairway
to ensure all life lessons learned are squeaky
greasy
pass me the dice
its my turn to look the snake in the eyes
waiting for my moment to pull the wool off the wolf
and devour the lamb
the drier keeps eating my socks
but somewhere where i am im not
lost my mind, trading it all for marbles
ready to cash in
anyone left at the table knows the rules
i'll huff and i'll bluff
and martyr myself til you remember
wont work this way anyway
three faces under the stairs
trick you this way til you catch on in your deja vous war tactic
then break the mould with a supposed chaos carriage for two
yesterday came and went
today the sun sets
my mind calming
tomorrow there will be no more stormy weather
but dont listen to me
im no weather man
mulligan
