Muleta
Wilful are spiralling twirls of muleta;
Spun with the majesty slaying has filed
Flaunted in fabric, our cute senorita,
Has skill for flamenco to send them all wild.
The whisper of mantles sidestep with an oath-
Scarlet romance, or a bull ducking down
Are taken for granted, they suddenly both,
Have least held the measure of beautiful gown.
The promise is met with the wishful lament,
Slowly encompassed and scuffed to the ground
Applause has a curious feel for consent,
Leaving death for a prize, in a heap all around.
The frill of adventure with gapes over hand
Descend with the raptures, and pause for reply:
A woven pursuit with its final demand
As often farewell does, a drape would supply.
