In an earlier day, he was known as "Cassius Clay". From the Olympics in Rome, the gold medal he took home. Nobody else like him we will see. He is the greatest, Muhammad Ali. Good write Curtis.

Curtis, this is too close to the original phrase said about him for me to like it as much as John the baptist. But it's really cool that you honored him on his BDAY. WAs he the one himself who coined the phrase "float like a butterfly, sting like a bee."

Actually, it was his trainer who told him he could float like a butterfly, sting like a bee and Ali made it his taunting phrase. I just used it to write my clerihew.

You wrote a perrrrfect one for the occasion, Curtis..Ouch!! He DOES sting like a bee..left hook right hook...duck!!! Here goes another swing...I think I will do one on Ross Perot! He was a political superstar when I was in junior high school and his name just popped into my nutty head. Again, great one.
