Mrs Know-It-All has joined our ladies group I watch her lips droop When she’s slurping soup Joyce claims she won a trophy on Mastermind (That big black chair you’ll find, won’t fit her big behind!) She drones on and on in her vexatious voice We don’t have a choice listening to Joyce Mrs Know-It-All has joined our ladies group our group she can’t dupe - she’s a nincompoop! Inspired by Nina’s contest but with an extra line added in each stanza ... Note to self to re read the rules! 10/31/18

Oh how many times I have done that...not been an obnoxious know it all(though I am sure some would disagree) but wrote for a contest and then read the rules to find out I did it all wrong. Oh well, at least in this case we got a fantastic poem to read ...this was fun Jan.

I got the idea, leapt out of bed to write it and was delighted with the result... and then thought oh dear I've screwed up with the number of lines :-( Won't be the last time I make a mistake but I got a fun poem out of it:-) hugs Jan xx

I jumped out of bed to write the pom and felt so smug then I thought out heck its only one 5 syllable rhyme not two lol. I wrote another poem in the correct form yardmaster so can use that:-) hugs Jan xx
