Move--Over Winter
The snow is gently falling
Upon the barren ground
Melted slowly but was almost gone
only to return
Not wanting leave the season
Robins returning from the south
Searching for food on the frozen ground
Only finding mere scraps
Crows chasing around barren trees
Looking for a new spring mate
Flowers trying to peek and catch
a glimpse of the sun
The sun playing hide and seek with clouds
Laughing while it plays hot and cold
With the seasons
Winter does not want to leave
while spring is slowly nudging its way in.
