Lately urges have been Borderline strange- I can feel life flowing through My veins again… A smile to self when I hear her name- And I have yet to know the Sensation of your touch, yet to Hold you after a night of sultry Lovemaking, yet to know the abyss That precedes your kiss… I’m too old for you to be making me feel like this- I will slay Goliath, And climb the highest mountain- I will travel back in antiquity To conquer empires and rediscover youth’s Secret fountain… From stone I will retrieve Excalibur’s sword to avenge invaders With a Gladiators’ might, But with the grace of A Matador’s fight- All of this I will do… And yet I long to know the Gentleness of your touch, Or the silent sound that love makes By candle light, Or the magic that awaits patiently In your kiss… I’m too old for you to be making me feel like this-
