Mothers - Disappearing

" No child should feel uncared, unloved, thrown away" 
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

There was a time when mothers were not working 
Mother would be with kids taking care, instilling  good values
Children felt loved and secure

Now a days most women are working 
Kids are left at crèche or home, 
Their parents have no time for them

What will be the value system of such children?
What will be the future of nation if children without moral values run it?

Such kids learn all bad habits, no one to correct to them. 
They roam about in search of love, they are depressed
This is one of the main cause of growing violence, suicides,
selfish humans who don't  know what it is to love and care

Why give birth to a child when you have no time? 
Why spoil a child's life?

All situations are not ideal and parents do the best they can. I do however understand what you are saying and you have expressed it eloquently. Blessings Rick.

Judy Ball March 3, 2021 at 4:00 PM Excellent Rama. Why have children if you don't want them. There are so many people who would give anythig to have a child but can't have one. Don't kill the child if you are pregnant and don't want it. Give it to someone who does. Better yet, don't do anything that will result in a baby if you don't want one. great job here Rama. Alexis Y. February 28, 2021 at 10:21 AM WoW! Rama, What a well-written and insightful write. In some cases, it's not that the mother doesn't want to spend time with her kids; she has no choice. The bills and rent have to get paid. In most states there’s no rent control. A landlord can go up on rent whenever they choose. They have a grace period with rent now due to COVID. It's hard for single parents and a two-parent home. This is my opinion. Well done. Best wishes in the contest. Jennifer Proxenos February 27, 2021 at 8:19 AM I also worked, but was blessed as it has always been our own business and I brought Ricky to work from 3 months old. Even when he started school I would pick him up, bring lunch for both us which we eat in a back office and then he would do his homework, if he needed me, I was there. Here in India lot of kids are suffering for no fault of their own. I see many of my son's friends, ill-mannered and depressed. I am lucky that I don't need to work.
