Mothers' Day Traffic

Add rain and roads and Mothers' Day
And multiply by stress.
Subtract the patience you have left
And marvel at the mess.

Then inch along and make a vow
That next year you will stay
At home and do a Face-Time call
To celebrate the day.

One thing I hate is getting stuck in traffic. Expressways are the usual non-stop quick access routes unless too many others are also there, and someone causes an accident. Another nice write, Ilene.

I live in a smaller community. And I still complain sometimes if I have to go alllll the wayyyy across town to visit my sister's. :) But what you are talking about is why I live in a smaller community. :) Hope you had a wonderful day.

I can imagine the gridlock on the roads in NYC on Mother's day - I hope you had a brilliant day and you got to either see or speak to your children:-) hugs Jan xx
