Mothers' Day Traffic

Add rain and roads and Mothers' Day
And multiply by stress.
Subtract the patience you have left
And marvel at the mess.

Then inch along and make a vow
That next year you will stay
At home and do a Face-Time call
To celebrate the day.

Robert Pettit May 15, 2018 at 10:56 AM One thing I hate is getting stuck in traffic. Expressways are the usual non-stop quick access routes unless too many others are also there, and someone causes an accident. Another nice write, Ilene.
