Mothers

Mothers © Ben Burton 5/8/2016 Everybody has a mother Every mother has a day They're expected to recovery When tomorrow morning breaks And continue with another Year of doing what they do Teaching all the sons and daughters About life and love and truth In addition to their cautions Cooking, shopping, cleaning, yikes Yet, somehow, they're always watching Making sure we're acting right So we made a special day for That great lady we revere Though one day can hardly pay for What our Mothers do all year
