Mother You Give Me Life

sweet mother dear
my spirit is
this ship wreck
without an anchor
without a compass
i cried for weeks
here on my knees
what have i
done with my life
this fallen autumn leaf
I brought you
so much grief
now every minute
in my life
is filled with
change
mother you
give me life
