Mother, Forgive Me

mother, forgive me.
the reason i do not cry is that I've run out of tears.

i have saved my tears
and here they are
they are the ink on this page
i save them for things like you
things i care about.

mother, forgive me
the reason i cannot eat is because my heart has sank and crushed my insides.

i have saves the nutrients
and here they are
they are the ink in my pen
i hope you can swallow this
and all your dreams can come TRUE.
because we are linked by the same pain.

mother, forgive me.
