An engaging Haiku, Harry. You've allowed interaction between the reader and the poem and opened our minds to possibilities of metaphor of shadows,seasons and veils. Excellent write my friend. One of the best Haikus I've read. A FAV for my list. Bill

Every season casts it shadows and leaves its mark on the face of mother Earth ! A very profound haiku, dear harry !

This is a deep write and one that leads to a couple of interpretations, and that is what i like about this Haiku. Could it be that the depth of seasons passed and experienced in her life begin to show on her face, or that each season veils her face in a different way, or maybe both combined. harry I'm not usually a fan of Haiku poems but this one speaks to me. I like the image of "veils across her face." It leaves much to the imagination. Write On, Terry
