Mother

Mother You are more than enough Not everyone willsee that It's not that you aren't bright enough It's just that they ignore the light, because they are stuck in their own darkness. You are not bossy. You are a leader, and your strength sometimes stirs up the insecurities in others Because you are not afraid to show your strength, that makes some uncomfortable But listen to my words and hear them clear, you are beautiful, you are intelligent, and there's no need to fear. Your greatness will shine and your maturity too. You are a natural-born leader, and they will follow you Keep your head high and complete your task, and if they don't like you, they ain't good enough to kiss your grass. You keep striving and do what you do, and the ones hating on your intelligence will one day work for you. You are a goddess, a king, and you.exude such light You are unstoppable, a force, don't ever dim your light You are royalty, an empress, and so much more When they close one door, he gonna open some more They gon' see your success but ignore your struggles, and share your testimonies cause others will love you And if they don't, that's ok too, cause God ain't put them here for you You have strength, so there's power in what you say You're a symbol of love and courage And when no one listens-and hears what you say Show them through action and don't get discouraged You are a winner because you learn from your loses You don't jump into contracts not knowing what the cost is You are the sheepherder among the sheep The strength among the weak The smooth sounding percussion playing that funky jazz beat You are the apple of my eye, my love and my light I'm eliminating all darkness trying to put out your light I now see why they say that love is blind Cause I'm now a mother and I don't play bout mine
