Mother

Mother I miss you
Mom please come back ...
One person who is very dear to us
Always missed, never forgotten
That's Mother

Pure, selfless, unconditional love
Life dedicated to our service
Just one expectation -
Our happiness and well-being
That's Mother.

Always worrying about us
Our thoughts are paramount in her mind
She can read our mind looking at our face
That's Mother

We may treat her badly
Shout at her in anger
Her tears and anger disappear quickly
She forgets and forgives easily
That's Mother

Mother is a special gift of God to earth
No one can love, care and serve like her
Indian scriptures give Mother top place
It is always Mother, father, teacher, God

No poem can encompass Mother's love in its entirety
Cherish your mother, she is priceless.

Priceless indeed Rama. My relationship with my mother was contentious at best. But there are still times when I want to pick up the phone to share a special thing with her. I gave her violets for Mother's Day. One has survived and divided itself into two violets that bloom. Congratulations for your win. Blessings being sent to you.

Congratulations, Rama. You never stop being a mother. It does not matter how old your children are, it does not matter if they hurt you.... you are always there with open arms.

Beautiful tribute to your Mother Rama that bond between a mother and her children is unbreakable even when they are no longer with us. Tom

WoW! Rama, This is an excellent and heartfelt tribute to your mother. I agree; no poem can come close to encompassing a mother's love. Well done. Best wishes in the contest. I'm adding to my fav collection. Have a great day and weekend-Alexis
