Formation of a lush mossy garden Surrounding a large mossy boulder Years have come and gone across the morning sky Sunrise palette red, yellow and orange glowing streaks Shade and moisture makes the conditions right Excellent compost materials nuture and thrive Nature has other chances to arive A beautiful scene across the garden Successful can only transform Colors and textures galore Simple pleasures in my found treasure Garden with a heart of stone

Doris..I think you are a serious gardener after reading this one. Just great. The fact you are writing more of nurturing the garden with compost is to my heart's delight. ONly 12 plus more weeks if you are in the midwest with me. lol. Check out my silly garden poem if you get time..I Love Dirt!..I was feeling just like you. h aha.

I know you have heard the old cliche "A rolling stone gathers no moss". If the boulder is stationary, then the moss and other growth have a chance. This is a decently descriptive piece.

This is really cool. I love my garden too and I have a really big back yard. We have made it a butterfly garden with two circular shapped gardens in the center. In the center of each of these are large decorative rocks around which we planted flowers that encourage the butterflys and dragonflys to come. Love this. God Bless, JB
