Moses Prays For His People

Moses’ Prayer For His People Lord give pardon to sinners this I ask of Thee Do not wipe out this nation from Thy all stern sight The world’s heathens will say that our waste was your goal Thou called these stiff neck people out purposing graves? And the heathen will say your intent was evil Now the sacred held covenant claims vow in faith Thus in deference yield to that oath do not scathe Thou called these stiff neck people out purposing graves? Let destruction not be for all those who curse Thee Then God listened to Moses, repented in mind. And forgave his bad people their evil conduct God renewed his past covenant blessing instead
