Mortality Morning snowfall brings his Moist eyes one last hurrah. Moon-flowers and blue jays, Meandering in step. Malignancy strides moan Meekest as his saviors Mourn before it all melts. 4/19/17

i read this before, and thought it was a lovely entry for the contest, it's got poignancy and depth - hopefully you will find this 1st place win greatly encouraging in the face of a lack of comments (people tend to avoid what they don't understand) - congrats!
