Morn's Coffee Will Taste of My Tears

Morn's Coffee Will Taste Of My Tears If you have left me say it plain some deep cut hearts can't stand the strain. If dawn shines and you are not here morn's coffee will taste of my tears. I'll not beg you back, not my style I will deeply mourn little while. Strap on my boots, in dark world go embrace sorrows I've come to know. If you ask forgive, try again I will say no and say amen Let your past forever be gone I'll chew my cud and live alone. When we both die, again we meet. I will pray not your soul to greet. Robert J. A glorious Sonnet in form and content! Gracious are the souls when they weathered the complexities and sufferings of love! Poise is recovered and the soul is healed and freed "I will pray not your soul to greet." A great pleasure to read your masterful Sonnets Robert. A FAV. Be blessed.

Once trust has been lost completely there is no going back. My ex wanted me back but that ship sailed long ago. I have a faithful man in my life now I can trust. I completely relate to your insightful poem Robert. Beautifully written! ;-)

Thanks my dear friend. I went through the bad results of having two ex-wives that cheated. I now have a beautiful wife of fourteen years, absolutely one hundred percent faithful. Glad to hear that you found your faithful soulmate as well.

Thank you my friend. Good riddance fits the bill. For no relationship can thrive or even remain intact once trust is gone.

Thnk you Lawrence. A poet oft writes in the mood that he/she is curently experiencing. We should write with heart's truth always..

Dear Robert, your deep, dark emotional poem, of mourning a lost love, shines in its rich despair like the blackest of onyx gems. The depth and intensity of the raw emotions expressed are keenly felt in your moving poem - your last two lines are stunning in their beautiful sadness and poignant pain.. Excellent poetry! Warmest wishes my wonderful friend.. ~Susan
