Morning Star

In a world consumed of darkness
Don't allow it to rob your peace and light
That is longing to dwell within
There is a light within each of us
That just needs the wind of the spirit to flame
Sent from the  promised spirit to resurrect
New life, hope ,peace love and joy within 
This world is out to put out the flame
But let none separate what God
Has prepared to mold one into
That can not be shaken but will remain
No longer  looking for the sun or moon
To bring forth light for us to see
For the morning star will shine unto the hearts
And cast out all darkness that we might come 
In unity of the Living God of truth and love 
God's word is the same then, today and will remain

[2] See, darkness covers the earth and thick darkness is over the peoples, but the Lord rises upon you and his glory appears over you. [5] Then you will look and be radiant, your heart will throb and swell with joy; the wealth on the seas will be brought to you, to you the riches of the nations will come.

[19] The sun will no more be your light by day, nor will the brightness of the moon shine on you, for the Lord will be your everlasting light, and your God will be your glory. [19] We also have the prophetic message as something completely reliable, and you will do well to pay attention to it, as to a light shining in a dark place, until the day dawns and the morning star rises in your hearts.

[16]  “I, Jesus, have sent my angel to give you this testimony for the churches. I am the Root and the Offspring of David, and the bright Morning Star.”

And, God invites us to do the same - to be light in darkness and to see "a great light" as we walk in the darkness and chaos of our times. At times like this I think of Esther's words - "born for such a time as this!" That is one of my favorite scriptures because it reminds me to hold tightly onto our ministry as God's ambassadors! Valsa George December 1, 2023 at 7:54 AM God has put a light inside each one of us. It has to be fanned into flame through the spirit of God. Demoniac forces of the world will try to extinguish it. Never allow the light to be blotted out, but should be allowed to shine in us to dispel all darkness from our souls. As ever a beautiful poem dear Stephan.
