Notes About The Poem

the following poem written in response to above image--for online poetry class

MORNING MOVES SOFTLY

She sits, blossoms gathered around her~ colors curl close like childhood comfort, Petals brush her skin with borrowed brightness~ their faint fragrance carries echoes of earlier days. Old hopes stir beneath her settled years~ small sweetness opens inside her.

A line in a novel before the subject is written.

My favorite alliteration is in the line "colors curl close like childhood comfort,". Excellent work!
