Morning Exercises

Bodies stretching with the dawn
                 look!
Earth wakes up yawning

Hello, J.W., Thank you for liking this poem I wrote last May. I don't believe I've read any of your poems, so I'll be visiting you soon.~~~Darlene

Great lines with majestic eloquence.. Your meandering of words still did not prevent your peice from giving out its message. This is an absolute 7!

Your comments are much appreciated, Funom! And thanks for the 7 rating. Haiku's are a challenge to get much said In as few words as possible. (not like women, we are wordy when we talk! )

That describes me completely, I love variety and to break molds, try something fresh and new. When those "Aha!" moments come, I run with them. As I'm sure you do , too. Thanks for letting me know.

Morning smiles are good! I'm glad you are exercising, too. When I got the inspiration for this poem, I watched the day begin and my corner of the world seemed to yawn and stretch along with me.
