Morning Crush
Awaken to the early morning sun
dew gently clings to the grass
The freshness of crisp morning air
Feels breath-taking and pure
The birds awaken before sunrise
a variety of melodies float
upon the mornings cool air
Harmony exists in song
I yawn....
Get up , get ready to start the day
No signs of laziness do I display
Up and at it is a motto I keep
But man I need another hour of sleep
I yawn.....
The birds sang this lullaby
My eyes closed I gave a sigh
Next it was high noon
Guess I will get up for this afternoon.
