Blue sapphire night brought sight of first winter. Snowflakes from heaven, glimmer light cradles til earth is tucked in. We sit drinking hot coco by a flaming fire, Max our dog too. Dad read a story; tucks us in bed. Snug, warm until morn. 1/24/2018 Poetry Contest: Any Theme Diminished Hexaverse Sponsored by: Charles Messina

I have a grandson named Max, so that part made me smile. "Snowflakes from heaven, glimmer light cradles til earth is tucked in. " This imagery gave me a little spin on my head, I liked it so much. The whole poem is wonderful, Eve.
