More Than the Eye Can See

Clinging at the boundary of the universe;
if it can be called a boundary at all,
is an androgynous infinity whose murmurous echo
ripples the silence of ancient marble corridors.
The once sonorous booming, a mere relic, yet
etched still in the arcane runes of forgotten civilizations;
encoded, lies dazzling truth, gorgeous and universal,
appreciated no more beyond mysticism or the surreal.
Yet it clings, desperate to exist
Where no eye shall behold,
and none shall find,

…save the listeners.

Oh, I do love this "...silence of ancient marble corridors", makes me wonder who had walked them before, and what had their thoughts been. I'm trying not to think of "the listeners".:) Keep well, this is an amazing write! Mikki

ADDING THIS TO MY FAV LIST . It compels the mind to think deep and race toward a great truth. That echo lives eternally my friend and sadly we ran away from it ..A7

Succinct is not usually my forte; I think I'm far more likely to be accused of being loquacious. Nevertheless, I appreciate you taking the time to stop by, read and comment. =) -G
