More Than An Instant

I waited within the seconds for you to return Funny how long a second can be One never realizes it until you're left in wait The anticipation of half a second to a second Time ..... what is it really? A measure of what? Measuring mere intervals of each day What if your wait is longer? More than an instant but less than a second To live in wait of a continuum of instances that feel like lifetimes My days are made up of .... continuous instances Thousands of seconds that feel like hours Every minute it's as if I lived sixty lifetimes and died To be reborn again in the next minute.... This is what my days feel like missing you But I would live and die a million more Just to see you again

The ending makes you realize that it was all worth it, and brought a smile to my face.

I'm not sure exactly what time is to be honest with you, who exactly came up with this measurement but one thing I do know is I will always make time to read your wonderful poetry. Very deep thoughts here Brenda. I can feel the longing and heart ache in this.

Lol my muse is so very fickle! Haha! She never wants to write about what I want to! Always wears her heart on her sleeve! Thank you so much Sandy!;)
