More Than a Thread

I’m connected to this place by more Than a thread Reasons that hold me in glad Captivation The tangy saltiness I taste lingering On my lips after Time spent on the beach It’s the siren song of my being I’m connected to this place by more Than my fingertips Solidly planted amid friends and creation Folding my negative space Into positive harmony The sirens singing my song I’m connected to this place with more Than my longing For when I leave, I am sad While away I yearn for the sand under my feet The waves pounding music Awaking incarnate To the singing of my siren song

They have opened the beaches here again and I am so grateful to start each morning early hugging the sea. Thank you Vijay for taking the time to comment!
