MOONSTRUCK SEEDS

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ the floxed bulb of October winnows down to pumpkins crouched in their own orange light~ each vine a fused unspooling toward frost, each fruit a brain swelling with moonstruck seeds.

children's book? hmm...I've thought about it but am not close to putting my toes in those waters...still trying to pubish my book of memoir vignettes...such a daunting task...thanks for asking though
