MOONSTRUCK

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ the floxed bulb of October winnows down to pumpkins crouched in their own orange light— each vine a fuse unspooling toward frost, each fruit a brain swelling with moonstruck seeds.
