Moonlight Stranger
I sit alone
and let my thoughts wander.
With the moonlit sky
I wonder, will I just forget?
the emotions I hide so deep
the feelings of my blue colored soul.
In my solitude I ask myself
Does someone in the universe
feel the same?
Or am I merely the one
with this great despair?
The gloomy night embraces me
No birds nor butterflies sing and dance
I feel alone
yes, indeed I am,
But not until a stranger came by
His heart is bleeding red,
his soul is lost as mine.
I wonder if he's the friend that heaven sent
Because why do I get to tell him?
All the emotions I deeply hide.
Who is this stranger that touches my soul?
The heavens must have a reason
A reason for uniting our psyches.
This might just be fleeting,
I never know
But for what it's worth
My heart will never forget.
