Moon View

Moon view

As I sit on my bench
on the moon looking at Earth,
screaming and shouting what are you
doing to my place of birth,

I see the Earths atmosphere becoming
a visually impenetrable coat of gas,
stop raping my planet and burning
fossil fuels creating methane mass,

so the world leaders are meeting
I hear to sort the problem out,
they can't see the devastation from
down there come and sit with me I shout,

climate change will affect us all
eventually in someway or other,
decline of our forests the worlds
lungs will collapse don't we bother,

this crisis will not be cured with
financial deals or reversed to soon,
I feel so sad, angry, lonely just sitting
here on my own witnessing this on the moon.
