In a starless sky the moon is a spoon that bashfully beams behind some wisps of clouds. You ask me where the stars have gone. "Darling," I reply, they are shining in your eyes more brightly than the silver moon." 9/18/17 for the Pithy Pants Poetry Contest of Maureen McGreavy

Oh, my, this is absolute charm and beauty, Andrea ... and we all make those little mistakes, (twice this week I wrote poems specifically for contests, labeled them, and never entered! Ugh, I'm an idiot!). Sad thing is, it would have been just as lovely without the last line - and a first for sure ... it's first on MY list! :-) <3

thanks, Greg. It is line 5 that needs to go out to be sedoka, but I like that line too much.

Maybe Sedoka just didn't register Andrea, Which is why you have that extra line. I entered my first attempt at writing a Sedoka. You enter so many contests. I am sure without that extra line this would have been a top winner. : )
