Moon Spoon

In a starless sky the moon is a spoon that bashfully beams behind white wisps of clouds. You ask me where the stars have gone. "Darling," I reply, "They shine in your eyes more brightly than the silver moon.

Oh, my, this is absolute charm and beauty, Andrea ... and we all make those little mistakes, (twice this week I wrote poems specifically for contests, labeled them, and never entered! Ugh, I'm an idiot!). Sad thing is, it would have been just as lovely without the last line - and a first for sure ... it's first on MY list! :-) <3

thanks, Greg. It is line 5 that needs to go out to be sedoka, but I like that line too much.

Maybe Sedoka just didn't register Andrea, Which is why you have that extra line. I entered my first attempt at writing a Sedoka. You enter so many contests. I am sure without that extra line this would have been a top winner. : )
