Moon Knight's Origin

Born Marc Spector and a rabbi’s son, he was CIA till his job was done. A mercenary he then chose to be. But something made him from that life break free. A fellow colleague he had to confront for killing a good doctor right in front of another colleague, the doctor’s daughter, but his fighting led to his own slaughter. Left for dead was Spector, beside a tomb. But death was never meant to be his doom. Placed before an Egyptian statue, he was healed, and then he revived instantly. The statue was of Khonshu, a god of the moon. And Spector learned his new name very soon. Left “Fist of Khonshu,” Moon Knight’s magnificent. Now he fights to protect the innocent. Well I’ll hand it too you Andrea, you certainly don’t shirk from any contest no matter how esoteric, I never heard of the Moon knight character this side of the pond, you put a fine piece together, regardless of weather from research or the comic book, I enjoyed the origin’s tale, cheers David

You jumped into the comic book. I’m with BJ…I liked The Archies. :) I think you summed it up :)

My kids would know about this! They are totally into those comic series and put me in my place when I get them put into a 'different universe' and all that. The only comic series I was acquainted with were The Archies, Richie Rich, Little Dot, etc, etc!! You did well with your poem, as usual, excellently put together!

Yeah, I feel bad, but I've got nothing on this topic, having never jumped into the Marvel/DC multiverse... Interesting tale, told in good solid rhyme - enjoyed!
