Moon Knight's Origin
Born Marc Spector and a rabbi’s son,
he was CIA till his job was done.
A mercenary he then chose to be.
But something made him from that life break free.
A fellow colleague he had to confront
for killing a good doctor right in front
of another colleague, the doctor’s daughter,
but his fighting led to his own slaughter.
Left for dead was Spector, beside a tomb.
But death was never meant to be his doom.
Placed before an Egyptian statue, he
was healed, and then he revived instantly.
The statue was of Khonshu, a god of the moon.
And Spector learned his new name very soon.
Left “Fist of Khonshu,” Moon Knight’s magnificent.
Now he fights to protect the innocent.
