Moon
If I could, then I surely would,
jump right up to the Moon.
I’d sit up there in an easy chair
and gaze upon on the Earth.
Drinking Yorkshire tea
from an old chipped mug,
stirred with a plastic spoon.
I would walk on the Moon and
dance on the Moon,
then pray for all I’m worth
That one day soon, I’ll return to the moon,
‘fore I jump back down to Earth.
