Monsters
When you are young you aren’t normally brave or strong. You fear the slightest things, dogs, storms, monsters under your bed, basically life in general scares the younger you. While we were young the things we feared would go away as soon as we ran to our parents. There was no fear once we were in the arms of the people we loved the most. Later as time went on we stopped being afraid of the small things like storms, curtain animals, even life wasn’t as scary as it had been. Sadly once we hit high school the fear starts up again but in a completely different way. For some reason we never seem to grow out of being afraid of monsters. We just can’t escape them. They end up being the star football player. The smartest girl in our grade. They are each and every person around us. We stopped looking for monsters under our bed because we grew up and realized they were in the people we trusted the most.
