Thank you for this poem. I that have fought so very many monsters and yet still breathe. That still am able to write, to live, to love and to be worthy. Such that somehow comes through me not of my own making. I am merely a vessel that opens the pathways and yields to the invisible.. A fav,,,,

I think when the music and the poetry, which adds up to love and romance, becomes non-existent, then we have reached a place in a hell of our own making.

Life and love are the essence of poetry. Yet each must face this dark world- "the ravenous monster". Both are shields used by the poet. The sword and spear are the ink and the words. The battle continues. And eternity watches as the Art, each generation replaces the fallen few.... that have gave so much for so little in return..
