Mongoose Vis-A-Vis Mongeese

If one mongoose is called a mongoose

   Then can't we conclusively deduce

That two could be called mongeese

'Twould make a great discourse piece

            Unless ye be dreadfully obtuse

Hmmmm Mongoose -- Mongeese? I wonder. Never gave it much thought before. This is cute though and it does make you think. Thanks for stopping by and for commenting on Crystal Creek. Had entered the first two lines in John's contest and then had to write the whole thing. God Bless, JB

I was thinking obtuse was gonna rhyme with piece for some reason and was wanting to hear "obteese" haha, making fun of the geese word. Very good lighthearted one, Robert.
