Money: the Root of All Evil
chaos, confusion and total hypocrisy
what in the hell is wrong with today's society?
people seem to have lost their morals, their minds and their common sense
they've put themselves under tremendous pressure just chasing the dollars and cents
money the root of evil, the devil's favorite tool
to control the minds of men and make them act like such fools
they'll steal, they'll lie, they'll kill and betray
anyone and anything that stands in their way
not many are able to look around and see the coming signs
that the Savior will be returning at any given time
the earth is quaking, the seas are shaking and the skies are all ablaze
and when the Son of Man comes back they'll all be so amazed
but it may be too late for many as the devil will have taken control
of those chasing the almighty dollar for they will have lost their souls
