Monarch
Summer turned to fall
leaves change colours
the warmth has left
like warmth of a life
leaving cool weather
a breath of death
like the moodiness of fall
a time of sorrow
news of sadness
death of a monarch
a beloved queen
who reigned supreme
a life given to service
just like seasons close
so ends her reign
God bless our queen.
