Moments of Beauty
I saw His love in an early sunrise
as nature awoke to embrace a new ‘morn.
The light glittered and danced across the land
and I felt renewed as I relaxed in the moment.
There were no cares to encumber my senses.
No discordant memory hidden somewhere in the shadows.
I was present in this moment and I was free
to see the beauty that surrounded me.
Wonders it was that the world didn’t shake under the glory of this light
while my awareness simply rested on a bird’s innocent flight.
Through the air it flew over seas and across land
and I went to follow with peace and hope held in my hand.
