Mom and My True God

My mom
 loves
 the true God
She smiles
about him
with a wink
and a nod
Bible in
her hand
She gives
 all a sermon
No shame
 in her belief
that she
 will be released
Wanting
 everyone
 to know
that the
Bible
 tells her so
And
everyone who
 listens
will be
blessed
with millions
of gifts
 beyond belief
If they
 embrace
 these things
beyond
 comprehension
Her true God
 is willing
to gather
the disbelieving
into his
 arms of reprieve
And grant
a joyous reunion
in paradise
 lending reduction
of sins in
 sinuous reflections
Giving wholeness
 to the lowly
The true way
 of forever loving
mankind in their
 forever being
sinless and
 called holy
Waiting patiently
on a new day
For true love
to be at play
The rule
of the heavens
with
brighter days
Until she
hears everyone
singing amen

I love you mom. Your struggles are a gift from above.
To show that we are capable of unconditional love.
