Mom and Me

Mom and me I can't remember the last time Mom and me I can't see her smile Mom and me but I know I'm her child though I acted a little bit Wild she held me hold me as I walked the land Mom and me She caressed me and nurtured She kept me safe and secure She was close to me As a leaf on a tree I could come and always talked to her She would be there to comfort me I could come and always talk to Mom you see Anything God and she Made of it was sure Lord Jesus help me, help me to remember Mom And me going down the stairs Off to church without a care That Sunday hat The cross on her neck The necklace I can hardly wait to one day wear that flowered belt And to bring home a Godly Man A husband With my child then off the church Our family goals then I'll be a "mom and me "oh you see God instilled that in me Written by James Edward Lee Sr Nov 8 2007
