Modern Hippie

I am a leather-wearing
Lipstick-bearing
Coffee-drinking
3-purse-carrying
Cleptomaniac spiralling
Modern hippie.
Don’t shoot my eye out for it,
My desire’s to stay in one place,
Let me live in peace,
A peace like the 70s
For there’s no peace like tumult.
There’s no ice cream
Like july 25th 1991.
I’m a headband-porting
Christmas-worshipper
From times past,
Good times, bad times,
There’s not time but
	The present
All other times are past.
