MODEL DA VINCI
If I could touch your beauty
And define it with my type
I’d spell the sunlight from your eyes
To cut the darkness of my night.
For all the songs I’ve never sung
And all the poems I’ve yet to write
Are waiting in your smile.
Let me fly there tonight.
If I could match the texture
Of the tenderness of your lips
And had that colour on pallet
At my ready fingertips
A masterpiece the world would see,
Even the Mona Lisa I could eclipse.
For you are all the dreams I’ve never had
And all the love I’ve never kissed.
